Child and family health services
The Children's Centre works closely with local health visitor teams to provide support services for children and their families.
The Community Midwifery Team hold clinics on various days at most of the centres.
Speech and Language Therapy is regularly provided from within the Centre by trained therapists, please call us for the next scheduled date.
The centre aims to be Breastfeeding friendly, two members of staff are trained breastfeeding advisers and are available to befriend and support mums.
Other health services that are provided from within the Centre are Portage groups, Fluoride Varnish Schemes for 2 year olds and Early Bird training sessions.
First Aid courses for parents are run on a regular basis. See the activities timetable for the date of the next scheduled workshop.
